On the Food & Drink column, the world famous media agency CNN has just introduced the Top 20 most delicious soups in the world. It is an honor that the famous Vietnamese beef noodle soup is nominated on this list with praise for the dish.

According to CNN, the wonderful aroma of pho is due to the broth being simmered for many hours with ingredients such as cinnamon, anise and other unique spices.
Quoting author Andrea Nguyen in “The Pho Cookbook”, the article argues that this soup is still quite new even though it is one of Vietnam’s best-known exports. Besides, while many restaurants these days already serve pho with all sorts of flavors, beef remains the most original.
According to CNN, beef pho is the most popular version in Vietnam with many options for diners such as raw beef, cooked beef, raw and cooked beef, breast and beef tendon.
Beef noodle soup with global names in CNN’s nominations list such as banga (Nigeria), bouillabaisse (France), caldo verde (Portugal), Gazpacho (Spain), gumbo (USA), beef noodle soup Lanzhou (China), tom yum goong (Thailand), Tonkotsu ramen (Japan)… have proved the uniqueness of Vietnamese cuisine and added another reason for tourists to return to the country after the pandemic.
