American website BuzzFeed recently listed Cat Ba among 11 national parks in the world that everyone should add to their bucket list.
Established in 1986, Cat Ba National Park is located about 150 km from Hanoi capital and 45 km from Hai Phong city. Belonging to the Cat Ba Archipelago Biosphere Reserve recognized by UNESCO in 2003, the national park covers 263 square kilometers, of which 173 square kilometers is the mainland and 90 square kilometers is the coastal waters. Diverse ecosystems, both terrestrial and marine creatures, and the amazing beauty of unique limestone mountains beside clear blue water make Cat Ba National Park the only representative of Southeast Asia to be in the top. 11.

When choosing Cat Ba National Park, visitors can choose to explore the wild nature or relax on the pristine beaches of the Cat Ba archipelago. Only about 25 km from Ha Long Bay, Lan Ha Bay near Cat Ba Island is considered a “forgotten paradise” and is among the most beautiful bays on the planet. “If you have extra time besides exploring Cat Ba, treat yourself to a small cruise around Ha Long Bay,” recommends BuzzFeed. The American website also suggests April through May or September through November as ideal times to visit the park.
Sw Zealand, and Cinque Terre National Park in Italy, Banff Paome National Park, other national parks on the list are Fiordland National Park in Nerk in Canada, Zhangjiajie National Forest Park in China and Yala National Park in Sri Lanka.
