Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park, a UNESCO global heritage site in central Vietnam, has ranked 15th in the top 25 best national parks in the world, as nominated by TripAdvisor readers.

Phong Nha-Ke Bang country is also the only representative of Southeast Asia on TripAdvisor’s list. The results are based on the number and quality of reviews and ratings by travelers worldwide on the TripAdvisor website over a one-year period.
Phong Nha Ke Bang is also home to Son Doong – the largest and most majestic natural cave in the world. Thanks to its spectacular karst landscape, the national park was recognized by UNESCO as a global heritage site in 2003. With a total area of more than 900 square kilometers, the park incorporates a cluster of more than 300 limestone caves. Geologically formed 400 million years ago. 30 of them are now available for ecotourism.
Number one on TripAdvior’s list is the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. Second place was India’s Jim Corbett National Park, while the Maasai Mara National Reserve in Kenya was voted third.
