Previously, passengers from Hanoi and the northern region to Rach Gia city had to take a flight to Tan Son Nhat airport first, then continue to fly to Rach Gia. Moreover, some flights from Tan Son Nhat to Rach Gia of current airlines usually depart early in the morning, so many passengers are forced to take a flight from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City the night before. This is a very long and exhausting schedule.
Thankfully, the upcoming direct flights will take off once a day for a total of just 2 hours, four times faster than the previous eight-hour charter flights. The Embraer 195 aircraft was put into operation to help Bamboo Airways provide business class and 5-star services.
During the opening period, passengers departing from February 1-8 will receive an additional 10kg of checked baggage.
